Gulf Contracting and Landscaping L.L.C. (GCL) was established in 1984 as a turnkey provider of all landscaping services, including Design, Construction and Maintenance of Landscaping and Irrigation Projects. Part of the larger Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) group it is one if the cornerstone divisions and ear marked for expansion in the future.

It has grown exponentially since its early inception and has now expanded to providing customized contracting solutions tailored to address the complexity, scale, and nature of its varied clientele.

Today, GCL takes pride in delivering total solutions from infrastructure to buildings and external developments including aquatic engineering and landscape and theming works supported by a wealth of diversity from its parent company Al Khayyat Investments and its many supporting subsidiaries such AKI Fitness – our commercial fitness division – high quality fit out expertise and street furniture.

GCL is prequalified by the respective authorities in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi and has the necessary classification and solutions for the smooth management of all stages in a construction project lifecycle; from design and inception all the way to handover.

Our specialized technical office provides end to end expertise and is supported by the latest engineering technologies (BIM Modelling and Primavera) to increase efficiencies in implementation across all our projects covering utility, hospitality and large leisure and landscaping schemes.

We have completed projects across the United Arab Emirates in partnership with some of the most respected contractors in the industry.

We pride ourselves in having delivered projects for the likes of Aldar, Modon, EMAAR, Nakheel, Dubai South, EXPO 2020, Meraas and many more.
